Floating is commonly a 60-minute experience where you relax in a private pod filled with warm, highly salted water. The salt makes you naturally buoyant, so you float effortlessly on the surface without any effort.
Most people spend the session resting quietly, daydreaming, meditating or simply enjoying some uninterrupted time away from the demands of everyday life.

The float pod contains around 500kg of Epsom salt, creating a highly concentrated salt solution that helps maintain water quality.
Between every session, the water is filtered and sanitised using a professional filtration and UV treatment system. The filtration system uses a 1-micron filter. For comparison, a grain of fine sand is around 90 microns in size, helping to remove microscopic particles from the water.
Combined with regular cleaning and mandatory pre-float showers, this ensures a clean, safe and hygienic experience for every guest.
-
Most people are surprised by how spacious the float pod feels. If you'd prefer, you can float with the lid partially open or fully open. Many first-time floaters choose to do this until they become familiar with the experience. Most guests find that any initial apprehension quickly disappears as they settle into the float and begin to relax.
-
Whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Most people choose to float without clothing, as it provides the most comfortable and distraction-free experience. However, what you wear is entirely up to you. The float room will be completely private, with its own shower and changing facilities.
-
No. The float pod contains only around 25–30cm of water and the high concentration of Epsom salt makes your body naturally float on the surface and your face remaining comfortably above the water. Simply lie back and let the water support you.
-
That's perfectly normal. A lot of people drift into a light sleep during their float.
-
To help avoid this, we recommend not touching your face during your float. A fresh water spray bottle is kept inside the pod, so if you do accidentally get salt in your eyes, you can quickly rinse them and continue your float in comfort.

Floating is suitable for most people, but there are some circumstances where we may recommend postponing your session or seeking medical advice first.
If you have epilepsy, certain heart conditions, uncontrolled low blood pressure, an infectious illness, or any condition that may affect your ability to enter and exit the pod safely. We would recommend speaking with your healthcare professional before booking.
